At YAYEF, we believe that every young person with academic potential deserves the chance to pursue their dreams, regardless of their financial circumstances. We have launched a ₦10 million initiative committed to increasing access to higher education for young people of Kwara State origin.
Our mission is to support financially challenged students who have demonstrated academic potential but face financial barriers that threaten their ability to start or continue their education.
Through YAYEF tuition support fund, we aim to ease the burden of educational expenses so you can focus on what truly matters: learning, growing, and contributing meaningfully to your community. We are committed to helping you write your success story and build a brighter future for yourself and for Kwara State.
Our Scholarship Categories
The YAYEF Tuition Support Fund offers two categories of scholarships tailored to different stages of your academic journey.
Campus Starter: New Entrants (UTME/DE route)
- You must be an indigene of Kwara State.
- You must have written the 2025 JAMB exam and passed.
- You must have received admission into a public university in Nigeria.
- You must be between 16 and 21 years of age.
- O-level Result.
- A-Level result.
- UTME/DE slip.
- Admission letter.
- Proof of origin (LGA certificate).
- A brief statement (maximum 300 words) titled "My Journey to University: What Drives Me and the Future I Want to Build".
Campus Achiever: Existing Students (GPA Track)
This category is for current undergraduate students, from 200 to 400 level, who have already completed at least one academic year. This is for students who have shown resilience and a commitment to academic excellence.
- You must be an indigene of Kwara State.
- You must be currently enrolled in an accredited public university in Nigeria.
- You must have completed at least one academic year.
- You must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale, or its equivalent.
- You should provide evidence of academic achievement.
- Your most recent academic transcript or official results.
- Your student ID and admission letter.
- Proof of origin (LGA certificate).
- A brief statement (maximum 300 words) titled "Staying the Course: How I Maintain Academic Excellence and Why It Matters".

Selection Considerations:
We are especially interested in applicants who show strong potential for academic success, have a clear vision for their future , and demonstrate leadership, resilience, good character, or community involvement.

- Funding Coverage: This fund will primarily cover tuition fees for the current academic year.

Who is eligible for this fund?
The fund is for financially challenged students from Kwara State who are enrolled in or have gained admission into a public university and meet the specific criteria for either the Campus Starter or Campus Achiever categories.
Can I apply for both categories?
No, you can only apply for one category based on your current academic standing. Double application will lead to automatic disqualification.
