Our Scholarship Categories
The YAYEF Tuition Support Fund offers two categories of scholarships tailored to different stages of your academic journey.
Campus Starter: New Entrants (UTME/DE route)
This category is for fresh university students, including 100-level entrants and those admitted via Direct Entry. Whether you’re starting right after secondary school or joining with a diploma or equivalent qualification, you are eligible here.
- You must be an indigene of Kwara State.
- You must have written the 2025 JAMB exam and passed.
- You must have received admission into a public university in Nigeria.
- You must be between 16 and 21 years of age.
- O-level Result.
- A-Level result.
- UTME/DE slip.
- Admission letter.
- Proof of origin (LGA certificate).
- A brief statement (maximum 300 words) titled "My Journey to University: What Drives Me and the Future I Want to Build".
Campus Achiever: Existing Students (GPA Track)
This category is for current undergraduate students, from 200 to 400 level, who have already completed at least one academic year. This is for students who have shown resilience and a commitment to academic excellence.
- You must be an indigene of Kwara State.
- You must be currently enrolled in an accredited public university in Nigeria.
- You must have completed at least one academic year.
- You must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 5.0 scale, or its equivalent.
- You should provide evidence of academic achievement.
- Your most recent academic transcript or official results.
- Your student ID and admission letter.
- Proof of origin (LGA certificate).
- A brief statement (maximum 300 words) titled "Staying the Course: How I Maintain Academic Excellence and Why It Matters".
Selection Considerations:
We are especially interested in applicants who show strong potential for academic success, have a clear vision for their future , and demonstrate leadership, resilience, good character, or community involvement.
Important Information:
- Number of Awardees: We have limited slots available, and selection will be competitive.
- Funding Coverage: This fund will primarily cover tuition fees for the current academic year.
- Notification: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted directly via email or phone.
- Selection: The foundation reserves the right to select and announce successful applicants.
